Highlights from our EPIC showcase at Kings Place

On March 22, Banger Factory Records brought its signature energy to Kings Place for a landmark showcase capturing the spirit of London’s thriving jazz community.

More than a concert, the evening unfolded as a full-scale celebration of creativity, collaboration, and the next generation of musical voices. Spanning multiple stages, the programme featured an all-star lineup of artists—from rising talents to established figures—each contributing to a showcase that felt both expansive and cohesive. Performances from Kinetika Bloco, Pete Horsfall & Electric Relaxation, Christ-Stephane Boizi Sextet, Ruben Fox, Rachael Cohen, and Mark Kavuma & The Banger Factory reflected the label’s ethos: music rooted in jazz, yet unafraid to stretch across genres and influences.

Rather than a traditional single-stage format, the event offered a multi-layered experience, combining live sets with DJ performances and panel discussions to create a dynamic, festival-like atmosphere—one that encouraged movement, discovery, and dialogue between artists and audiences.
